The Sprint facility in Ft. Worth, Texas was facing a major upgrade problem. Being a facility that handles switching of emergency phone calls, the facility could not be shut down. The existing buildings utilized a constant volume system for the switching area, but the new expansion was going to integrate a variable volume traditional HVAC system. Systecon's variable primary system allowed the facility to serve the two different users one common plant. Through Systecon's flow testing and on-site assistance, the facility was able to get the plant up and running while the existing facility operated. Over a series of weekends, the two independent mechanical systems become one, without ever shutting down.
